How the certification reaches your shipment
The GOTS certificate above is held by Cotonex. A scope certificate of that kind confirms a mill has been audited and may produce GOTS goods; it does not, on its own, prove that any particular consignment is organic.
That proof comes from a transaction certificate, issued per shipment and in your name. It is the document your own auditor, retailer or customs authority will ask to see, and it is what allows you to describe the goods you received as GOTS certified organic. We issue one with every organic order.
You are welcome to verify License GOTS-BVIN0317 in the public GOTS database or with Bureau Veritas directly, and we will send the full certificate on request.
