Private Label Towel Manufacturer in India

OEM and private label towel programmes for importers, distributors and retail brands — built to your specification, carrying your label, packed for your market.

Who This Is For

This page is for buyers who sell towels under their own name. You may be a retail brand building a bath range, a distributor who wants a house label instead of reselling someone else's, a hospitality supplier serving hotel groups, or an e-commerce business that has outgrown buying from wholesalers.

What these buyers have in common is that they need control — over specification, over branding, and over repeat production that matches the first order. That is what a private label programme is, and it is different from simply buying stock towels in bulk.

What We Manufacture Under Your Label

Bath towels, hand towels, face towels and bath sheets

Bathrobes in terry, waffle and velour

        Pool, cabana and beach towels

        Spa and gym towels

        Bath mats

        Kitchen and tea towels

Baby bibs, hooded towels and washcloths

Hotel bed linen — sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases

The Specification Is Yours

A private label programme starts with the cloth, not the label. You set:

Weight. GSM is chosen against how the towel will be used and laundered. Retail and boutique programmes usually sit heavier; gym, spa and travel programmes go lighter for faster drying. Our range runs 250–700 GSM depending on product and construction.

Size. Standard hospitality and retail sizes, or your own dimensions. Standard sizes we hold: Face 30x30 cm, Hand 40x70 cm, Bath 70x140 cm, Bath Sheet 90x180 cm — full range confirmed against your specification.

Colour. Piece dyed to your Pantone or TCX reference. We produce a lab dip for your approval before bulk dyeing, so the shade is agreed before any volume is committed.

Construction. Double-sided terry, one-side terry for printing, zero twist for softness, waffle for fast drying, velour face for a smooth print surface.

Border and hem. Plain hem, dobby border, cam border, or a woven border in your own colour and design.

Branding — Four Ways to Put Your Name On It

Woven label. A label woven in thread and stitched into the seam. The most durable option and the standard for hospitality, because it survives commercial laundering indefinitely.

Satin label, printed. A smooth satin tape with your artwork printed on it. Lower minimum than woven, good for shorter retail runs, and prints fine detail and small type more clearly.

Heat transfer label. Applied without stitching, so there is no scratchy seam label. Common for premium retail where a stitched label is considered a comfort problem.

Embroidery. Your logo stitched directly into the towel border or panel. The most visible option, and the one hotels, clubs and corporate programmes choose when the branding is meant to be seen.

We can also weave your name or motif directly into the dobby border, or print your artwork across the towel digitally for beach and promotional ranges.

Packaging Made for Your Channel

How the towel arrives matters as much as the towel when you are selling retail. We can pack:

Individual polybag with your printed insert card

        Belly band in your artwork

Printed hangtag with barcode and care label

Ribbon-tied or banded sets — two piece, three piece, or gift sets

        Custom printed gift box

Bulk carton with your shipping marks

Barcodes, care symbols and fibre content labelling are produced to your market's requirements — the United States, the European Union, Canada and Australia each have their own labelling rules, and we produce to whichever applies to you.

Minimum Order Quantities

MOQ is not one number. It depends on how much of the product is being customised — a standard towel with your label is a smaller commitment than a custom shade in a custom weave. All MOQs below are confirmed at quotation stage against your specification:

Standard product with your label: confirmed at quotation

Custom colour (new shade development): confirmed at quotation

Custom jacquard or woven border design: confirmed at quotation

        Woven label: confirmed at quotation

        Embroidery: confirmed at quotation

Printed hangtag or custom box: confirmed at quotation

If your first order sits below these numbers, tell us anyway. A first programme is often built by combining sizes within one shade to reach a workable batch.

From Brief to Shipment

1. Brief. You send the product, GSM, size, colour reference, branding and quantity. If you have a sample of what you want matched, send it — working from a physical sample is faster and more accurate than working from a description.

2. Quotation. We quote FOB against that specification, stating MOQ and lead time.

3. Lab dip. For custom colours we submit dyed yarn or fabric for your shade approval before bulk dyeing.

4. Sample. We produce a physical sample of the finished product — typically 10–15 days. Nothing goes to bulk until you have held it and approved it.

5. Artwork approval. Labels, hangtags and packaging are proofed and signed off separately from the product.

6. Bulk production. Manufactured against the approved sample — typically 30–45 days.

7. Inspection and packing. Checked before packing, then packed to your cartons and shipping marks.

8. Shipment. FOB from our export port (confirmed at quotation stage). Full export documentation supplied with the shipment.

Documentation and Compliance

For most importers this is now the part that decides whether a supplier can be used at all.

Cotton traceability. We hold documentation tracing our cotton, which importers increasingly need for forced-labour due diligence. For shipments into the United States this is a customs matter, not a preference, and a supplier who cannot produce it is a risk to your consignment.

Certifications. Certification details available on request.

Test reports. Independent test reports for GSM, absorbency, pile ratio, shrinkage and colour fastness are available on request.

HS classification. Provided with your shipping documentation.

Why Manufacture in Solapur

Solapur in Maharashtra has been a terry towel cluster for generations, and our production partner V P Mundada has manufactured there since 1972. That matters for two practical reasons. First, the skill base — weaving, dyeing and finishing terry well is not something a factory learns in a year. Second, the supply chain around the cluster means yarn, dyeing and processing are all local, which keeps lead times short and quality consistent between orders.

Kiran Global Exports handles the export side from Jaipur: specification, sampling, documentation and shipping. You deal with one point of contact and one set of paperwork, with a fifty-year-old mill behind it.

What to Send Us to Get a Quote

To quote accurately we need: the product, GSM (or a sample to match), size, colour reference, quantity per size and colour, branding requirement, packaging requirement, and your destination port. If you do not have all of it yet, send what you have — most first enquiries do not arrive complete, and we can work back from a photo or a competitor sample.
