WHY SOLAPUR

Solapur is terry and has been for generations — Solapur terry carries a registered Geographical Indication in India.
In a cluster the dyeing house, the loom mechanic and the yarn merchant are all within a few kilometres.
Corrections take days, not weeks.

A towel you currently buy, if you are replacing one.
We can usually tell you from the piece what construction you have been getting.
Your specification: sizes, weights in GSM or lb/dz, colours, branding, quantities.
Your conditions: climate, water hardness, wash protocol. These change what we recommend more than your budget does.
Tell us roughly what you need before you travel, and we will have relevant samples ready rather than showing you everything.
Certifications: OEKO-TEX Standard 100, GRS, ISO 9001, MADE IN GREEN, BSCI.
For organic, our GOTS certified partner facility, licence GOTS-BVIN0317, Bureau Veritas — that licence belongs to our partner mill, not to us, and we will show you the paperwork rather than a logo.
If you cannot travel, we send samples built to be washed and tested, and we are happy to do a video walkthrough of the floor.
