OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certifies that the finished textile has been tested for harmful substances. It is a chemical safety certification. It is not an organic claim and not an environmental claim, and any supplier presenting it as either is overselling it.
Alongside it we hold MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX for traceability, GRS for recycled content, ISO 9001 for quality management, and BSCI for social compliance — the one European, UK and Australian buyers ask for first, because their own reporting obligations depend on it.
For organic we work through a GOTS certified partner facility, licence GOTS-BVIN0317, issued by Bureau Veritas. That licence belongs to our partner mill, not to Kiran Global Exports, and we state it on every document.
One thing to ask every supplier you shortlist:
A certificate proves the facility is approved. It does not prove your goods came from it.
What proves that is a transaction certificate, issued in your own company name for your specific shipment. Ask for one. Most suppliers cannot produce it, and a scope certificate emailed as a PDF is not the same document.
