Kiran Global Exports is a cotton terry towel manufacturer and exporter based in Jule Solapur, Maharashtra, India. We produce through a partner mill in Solapur that has been weaving terry since 1972, and we export to hotels, resorts, spas, salons, retailers, distributors and importers. WHAT WE MAKE Guest room bath linen — bath sheets, bath towels, hand towels, face towels, from 450 to 700 GSM Pool, beach and gym towels — 400 to 450 GSM Bath mats — 900 to 1, 200 GSM Waffle towels — 220 to 350 GSM Bathrobes — terry 380 to 450 GSM, waffle 220 to 300 GSM Kitchen, salon, spa, golf and service towels Constructions: three pick or five pick terry, carded or combed ring spun yarn, zero twist where softness matters more than life. Reactive dyeing for whites and guest room colours, vat dyeing for anything meeting chlorine, bleach or long sun. Branding: dobby border, jacquard woven into the pile, woven label, embroidery. WHAT WE CERTIFY, AND WHAT WE DO NOT Held in our own name: OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100, MADE IN GREEN, GRS, ISO 9001, BSCI. Our organic programme runs through a GOTS certified partner facility, licence GOTS-BVIN0317, issued by Bureau Veritas. That licence belongs to the partner mill. It does not belong to Kiran Global Exports, and you will never see a GOTS logo printed beside our own name. The GOTS public database makes this checkable in about a minute, and you should check it — for us and for everyone else you shortlist. One thing that is not an environmental claim at all: OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certifies that the finished textile has been tested for harmful substances. It is chemical safety and should never be printed as an organic or eco claim. HOW WE QUOTE Every quotation states finished post-wash weight, finished size, yarn type, dyeing method, packing, and whether the price is FOB or CIF. We quote post-wash because a towel shrinks 5 to 7 percent over its first three industrial washes, mostly in length, and a pre-wash figure makes a quote look better while telling you less. WHAT WE DO NOT DO We hold no stock in any buyer’s country. Every order is produced to specification and shipped from India, and we will not describe ourselves as a manufacturer in your city because we are not one. We do not supply medical or hospital linen. We do not offer sublimation printing on 100 percent cotton, because sublimation needs polyester to bond to.
