Since the India–Oman trade agreement (CEPA) came into force on 1 June 2026, towels made in India have entered Oman duty-free.
Oman removed its 5% duty on all textile and apparel lines from day one.
For hotels in Muscat, Salalah and the resort areas, and for the distributors who supply them, that
makes buying direct from an Indian mill easier to justify than before.
We handle the paperwork, and every repeat order is made to the same approved spec.

Duty and shipping
Under the India–Oman CEPA, towels and other textiles from India enter Oman at zero customs duty, instead of the usual 5%.
To claim it, the shipment needs a CEPA certificate of origin, which we arrange with every order. Oman's 5% VAT still applies on import.
We ship FOB Nhava Sheva or CIF to Sohar Port or Port Sultan Qaboos (Muscat).
The sea journey is usually around one week, depending on the sailing.

FAQs
Are towels from India really duty-free in Oman?
Yes. Since 1 June 2026, textile products from India enter Oman at zero duty under CEPA, as long as the shipment has a valid CEPA certificate of origin.
VAT at 5% still applies.
Do you have an office in Oman?
