Cotton terry towels — bath, hand, face, beach and pool — are commonly classified under HS heading 6302, specifically 6302.60, covering toilet linen of terry towelling of cotton.
Bathrobes are not linen. They are apparel, Chapter 61 or 62 depending on knitted or woven.
Buyers who assume a robe ships under the towel code find out at clearance.
Your broker makes the final call. What we control is that the invoice, packing list and origin documents describe the goods accurately and consistently.
Ask for these before the container sails, not after it arrives: commercial invoice with correct HS classification, packing list with carton counts and weights, certificate of origin, bill of lading, and any certifications your programme needs.
