We print on cotton, so the towels stay soft and absorbent, not stiff like printed polyester. Velour has sheared loops on the printed side, giving a smooth surface that holds sharp, photo-quality images. Full terry is more absorbent and softer to the touch, but the print looks slightly less crisp. Most brands choose velour for detailed artwork and terry for simpler designs. Built for the South American season The southern summer peaks from December to February, and beach sales in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile build from November. With production time plus four to seven weeks at sea, most importers need to confirm orders by mid-year. [CONFIRM: recommended order month based on your lead time] Labels for each market • Brazil: permanent labels in Portuguese under INMETRO rules, showing fibre composition, country of origin (“Fabricado na Índia“), care instructions, size, and the importer's name and tax ID (CNPJ) • Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Uruguay: labels in Spanish with fibre composition, origin (“Hecho en India“) and care instructions, to your importer's local requirements • Your brand: woven or printed brand labels, hang tags, bellybands or printed bags Duty and shipping Import duty varies a lot across the region. Mercosur countries (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay) apply some of the highest duties on finished textiles, and Brazil adds several local taxes on top. Chile applies a low general tariff. FAQs How many designs can I order at once? Digital printing needs no screens, so you can mix several designs in one order. [CONFIRM: minimum quantity per design] Will the print fade? We print on cotton with dyes that bond to the fibre, so the colours hold up well to washing. All printed towels fade slowly with heavy sun and chlorine, so we recommend washing them before first use and drying them out of direct sun. Can you match my Pantone colours?
