Labelling for the US market
• Fibre content and country of origin: under the US Textile Fiber Products Identification Act, each mat is labelled with fibre content (for example, “100% Cotton“), “Made in India“, and your company name or FTC RN number.
• Care instructions: we add care symbols or text, which retailers expect even where they are not strictly required.
• Cotton documents: US Customs can ask importers to show where the cotton came from.

Duty and shipping
Woven cotton terry bathmats are usually classified under HTS 6302.60, which carries a standard US duty of 9.1%. Goods from India currently also pay an additional tariff, which has changed several times in 2025–26. Tufted bath rugs may fall under a different heading.
Please confirm the classification and the total duty rate with your customs broker before ordering.
We ship FOB Nhava Sheva (JNPT) to US East, Gulf and West Coast ports, usually in about four to six weeks.
Your broker files the ISF before loading, and we send the shipping details in advance.
