Shipping towels from India to the UAE is one of the shortest routes we run. What delays a container is paperwork, and you can settle it before the order.
DUTY AND THE INDIA-UAE AGREEMENT
The GCC applies a common external duty on most goods, typically 5 percent. India and the UAE also have a trade agreement, the CEPA, which can lower or remove duty on eligible Indian goods when the shipment carries the right certificate of origin. Eligibility depends on the product and on origin rules, so confirm it with your clearing agent before you fix a landed price. We will supply the certificate of origin your agent asks for.
MAINLAND OR FREE ZONE
Tell us at order stage whether the importer of record is mainland or free zone. Attestation requirements differ, and fixing it after the goods arrive is slow.
LABELLING
Retail goods generally need Arabic alongside English. Tell us exactly what the label must say and we produce to it. If anything is being re-exported to Saudi Arabia, SASO conformity must be registered through SABER before arrival.

Stay at the lower end of each band. In Gulf humidity a 700 GSM towel does not dry fully between uses, and the complaint that follows is about smell.

Is the quoted weight before washing or after?
A towel shrinks 5 to 7 percent over its first three industrial washes, mostly in length.
We quote finished post-wash weight in writing.
